A professional clinic to nurture your confidence and skills

The Wellbeing Centre at Pyrmont Campus offers you a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience and develop confidence in your chosen career area by providing a unique range of holistic health and wellbeing treatments to the public.

At The Wellbeing Centre, everything you’ve learned in class is able to be put into practice. You’ll work with real clients to help them transform, grow and be heard.

These professional, affordable services, delivered by JNI students, are supervised by qualified and highly experienced practitioners. The result? Our students not only practise their skills, but also receive real and relevant feedback on their abilities, giving them the confidence to enter the workforce as soon as their studies are complete.

By using a coordinated matching process, JNI pairs its counselling and psychotherapy students with real clients who attend The Wellbeing Centre.

The Wellbeing Centre offers a breadth of holistic health treatments from students at the three colleges housed at the Pyrmont Campus:

  • Counselling sessions
  • Naturopathy consultations

You feel privileged sometimes. People are telling me stuff they haven't told anyone else. If they come back I feel like I have done something right. It is such a privilege to make a difference in someone’s life

I had a client who was very miserable, unhappy and wanted to end his life. You usually have a set procedures if someone is at risk to themselves. We put things in place to keep him safe and then I saw him over three months. He is now having a shift and transformation about his life - he is a lot more positive about his life. When something like that happens it is very rewarding, It's a magic thing that sometimes happens. For him, he is now touching upon things in his life and having realisations about his life which has helped through.
